Summer Coding Camp

The Walton Science Olympiad is pleased to host our first Summer Coding Camp.
Smartphone apps, robots, video games, small business—the world runs on code. Software jobs are predicted to grow 34% in the next few years, making coding and app development the world’s most in-demand skills. In this camp, students will learn to program with blocks and written code. They will also build circuits and control systems using Arduino.

Dates: July 2, 3, & 5

Times: 9:00a – 3:00p

Ages: rising 4th grade – rising 8th grade

Cost: $300

Details:
Students may be dropped off between 8:45 am and 9:00 am each morning at the front entrance of the school. Students must be picked up promptly at 3:00 pm each afternoon at the front entrance of the school.

Students provide their own lunch including a beverage. A snack is provided each day (animal crackers, graham crackers, goldfish crackers, etc.).

You may pay for the camp by check (made out to Walton High School) and mail it to the camp supervisor, or drop it off at the school.
